A custom swing set starts with a blank yard and a list of what your family wants to do outside: swing high, climb a rock wall, hide in a fort, race down a wave slide. We design the layout to fit your space, choose the materials and build it on site, so the finished playground looks like it belongs to your home.
Because nothing is pulled from a catalog shelf, every part can be sized and placed on purpose. Towers can be taller or lower, swing beams can be longer, decks can wrap around a tree, and extras can be added now or later as the kids grow.
What goes into a custom build
We begin with the yard: size, slope, trees, sun, fences, access and the area that must stay open around the equipment. Then we talk about ages, how many children will play at once and what kind of play they love most.
From there we sketch a layout with a main tower, swing beam, slides and climbers, pick lumber or vinyl, colors and accessories, and agree on a plan before anything is cut.
Why families choose custom
A custom playset can fit an odd-shaped yard, include features that are hard to find in kits and be extended later. It also lets you mix quiet play such as a clubhouse or reading nook with high-energy play such as ninja rungs and a trapeze.
Many families start with a modest core set and add a climbing wall, a second slide or a rope bridge a year or two later, which is much easier when the original frame was planned to grow.

From first call to first swing.
The steps for custom swing sets, in the order they happen.
- 01
Talk and measure
We walk the yard, measure, note slopes and trees and learn how your kids play.
- 02
Design the layout
You see a plan with the tower, swings, slides and extras, and we adjust it together.
- 03
Prepare the site
The area is leveled, marked and given a base and border for surfacing.
- 04
Build and finish
The set is built on site, hardware is torqued and checked, and the surface goes in.
Is it right for your family?
A good fit when
- You want a layout that fits your actual yard
- Your kids span different ages and interests
- You have a slope, tree or odd shape to work around
- You want to add features over time
Worth knowing
- Custom builds take planning time before construction starts
- The play area needs a clear zone around the equipment
- Larger sets may need a level base and good drainage
- Some neighborhoods require approval before building
Good questions about custom swing sets.
Can you build around a tree or a slope?
Often, yes. Trees and slopes change the design, so we plan the layout and the footings around them.
Can I add to the set later?
Yes. We plan the frame so that slides, climbers, swings and decks can be added as the kids grow.
Do you build on site?
Yes. Custom sets are built in your yard so they fit the space exactly.
