The site check
A crew starts by walking the area. They confirm the footprint, look for underground utilities and overhead hazards, check the slope and think about where water will go.
Marking paint or stakes show the corners of the set and the use zone.
Preparing the ground
The area is cleared and leveled. On slopes, soil may be cut and filled or the layout stepped. Where the plan calls for a border and surfacing, the base is prepared.
Footings or anchors are set according to the design.
Building the frame
Posts and beams are placed, leveled and braced. Decks, ladders, rails, roofs and walls are added in the manufacturer’s or designer’s sequence. Hardware is tightened in stages.
Swing beams are checked for level and strength.
Accessories and swings
Slides, climbing walls, monkey bars and swing seats go on next. Heights and clearances are adjusted. Chains and hangers are tested.
Every connection is checked again after everything is in place.
Surface and walk-through
The border and surface are installed to the planned depth. The crew cleans up, hauls away packaging and walks you through care and checks.
You get contact information for questions and follow-up.
What a crew carries
A professional crew arrives with levels, laser or string lines, augers or post-hole diggers, impact drivers, torque wrenches and lifting aids. Good tools make the work precise and safe.
You should not need to supply anything beyond access and a clear area.
The final walk-through
At the end, you and the crew walk the set together. They push on the frame, test the swings, show you the hardware and explain how to check it. You also get care instructions and a way to reach them.
This is a great time to ask questions.
Quick answers
How long does installation take?
Small sets can go in within a day. Larger custom builds take several days. Site work adds time.
Do I need to be home?
It helps for the first walk-through and the final one. We confirm details beforehand.
